Grant reviewers for the Winn Feline Foundation include our board members, our Executive Director, two appointed Veterinary Consultants and invited advisors who are usually practicing veterinarians. The combined experience of reviewers enables Winn to select the best proposals for funding.
Veterinary Consultants are appointed for three-year terms to serve as grant reviewers. Their expertise in various areas of research such as medicine, surgery, cancer therapy, molecular biology, and diagnostics is invaluable. The current Veterinary Consultants are Dr. Shila Nordone and Dr. Patricia Gallo.
